TREE AND SHRUB PRUNING

Our crew of qualified and trained arborists understand and perform all aspects of pruning according to the National Arborists Associations standards (ANSI - A300)

CROWN THINNING

Proper thinning is done throughout the crown and requires the skill of a trained arborist to determine what should stay or go.

TREE AND STUMP REMOVAL

Trees may need to be removed from the landscape due to a number of conditions . Such as, poor growth habit, construction damage, age, severe weather, insect and disease. Our crews are trained in climbing and rigging techniques to safely remove any trees .

Stump Grinding - allows for replanting after tree or shrub removal. Stump mulch is left on site and makes excellent soil amendment. Material can be removed for an additional cost if requested.

BRACING AND CABLING

Cable systems provide supplemental support for trees with weak branch connections, heavy and overextended limbs, and splits or cracks in woody tissue. This will promote proper healing. It's best to have an arborist evaluate this course of treatment for your tree. Our support system work meets the industry ANSI -A300 standard.

PLANT HEALTH CARE

Our certified arborists have the training to diagnose and recommend the appropriate treatments. Our goal is to customize a treatment to each individual landscape. We practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in identifying the correct life cycle stages to correct damage caused by insects or disease. Our arborists are also trained to diagnose problems not related to disease such as, soil compaction, soil pH, poor watering practices, nutrient deficiencies and recommend treatments to improve health and vigor.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND RENOVATION

Whether maintaining or expanding an existing landscape, renovating tired or neglected plantings, or creating new design concept for your site. Our staff will provide a professional consultation customized to each clients specific needs.

TREE INVENTORY

Urban Municipal Trees - designed to assist cities and other government agencies to help manage their tree population. Inventory will provide individual tree location, species identification, diameter, health condition rating. It will also identify problem issues such as disease and insect damage, poor structure and growing conditions that could lead to future problems. Street and park tree inventories for municipalities will assist in managing the urban forest resources.

Woodland Trees - inventory of woodland lots in urban areas are often required by cities to satisfy tree preservation standards. Inventory will be performed by a registered forester collecting species identification, diameter, health rating.

Woodlot Management - examine woodlot characteristics, determine stand volumes, timber values , marketability and make recommendations for future forest health and viability.

CONSULTATION AND DIAGNOSIS

Hazard Tree Evaluation - assess the stability of a tree for defects not readily apparent that can lead to failure. Our arborists can provide a detailed report to help you determine the best course of action.

Tree Value Appraisals - loss of trees and other landscape plants result in loss of property value. Our forester/ arborist is qualified to provide estimates for insurance and tax purposes. Lawrence Arbor Care L.L.C. provides tree appraisals for residential, commercial and municipal clients.

Tree Value Computation - estimating value cost compensation for tree damages from vandalism, construction negligence, trespassing. Tree values are determined by standards set by the International Society of Arboriculture(ISA) and the Arborist Society of Michigan (ASM).

Expert Witness Testimonies - Owner Bill Lawrence can review the actual site in question for lawsuits involving trees. His experience includes reviewing court documents, case preparation, cross examination to help reach a settlement and will appear in court when necessary.

Arborist Training and Education - we offer Arboriculture training of municipal staff and private maintenance crews which includes species ID, pruning and planting techniques and much, much more.

Management Plan - our forester can work with developers and government agencies to prepare management plans for all aspects or tree planting and maintenance.

Wood Chips - sold by the truckload, Chips are not dyed and quality varies, may contain leaves, twigs or bark. Available by delivery only.
